Philosophy:
I am an Italian Designer working in the marketing industry. I have a passion for old objects and I like to mix new trends with old traditions.
Each of my bikes is the result of a long search for components, materials and workmanship of the past, combined with a careful study of shapes and colours.
Each LusvardiBici is a unique bike, both in its kind and in its components, impossible to mass-produce or copy.
The result is a unique piece of art that will last forever.
Materials and components:
Fortunately Italy is a fantastic country to find old components of the highest quality.
The frames come from used bicycles from the 70s, 80s, 90s, each frame is first checked to check its condition and then it is completely refurbished, unnecessary components are removed and finally professionally repainted.
All parts subject to wear are new, the bearings are new, the chains are new, and the tyres are new. Even the coaster brakes are completely new (safety is not an option).
Every other component is used in top condition, obviously refurbished, or even from stock that has been in a box for years (NOS).
